On 15th July 2008 we hosted a Private View to launch our exhibition in celebration of Nelson Mandela’s 90th birthday.
The show featured signed lithographs by Nelson Mandela including the iconic piece ‘Hand of Africa’ and hand printed photographs by Jurgen Schadeberg, who gave a short speech on the night about his experiences of photographing Mr Mandela over the years.
South African opera singer Siphiwo Ntshebe amazed us with his fabulous voice and we were joined by NICRO, an inspiring charity dedicated to seeking constructive solutions to crime and creating a safe South Africa.
Sales of the exhibition benefitted Sebastian’s Memorial School and NICRO.
