London artist, Trish Wylie, is making a name for herself with her painterly explorations of the cinematic genre. Her previoiusly abstract leanings took a curious turn when her love of painting and film merged to form a series of large and
colourful canvas works. In her series of 'Western' paintings, the leading stars of classic Western film take on an enigmatic yet iconic presence. As Robin Baker, 'Curator of the BFI Media Teque', quoted, "These paintings
