Malikh was born in 1961 in Sverdlovsk, in the Urals. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg with Honours and is a member of the Federation of Russian Artists. He paints particularly picturesque scenes of 'Old
Russia'. His work has been exhibited in Moscow, St. Petersburg, and throughout Europe and is found in many private collections throughout Europe.
