Christina was born in Denmark in 1960. She studied at the American Academy of Art in the USA and also the Graphic Arts Institute of Denmark. She then went on to be the illustrator for the Danish Advertising Agency. She has exhibited in numerous
exhibitions both group and solo in Copenhagen and throughout Denmark. Christina paints exquisite portraits in which she says she looks for certain secretive expression and a mixture of an old and contemporary look. This look can very easily be
described as timelessness. "In painting the icons I find my primary inspiration in early Northern European Renaissance and Artists such as Albrecht D_rer, Jan van Eyck, Hans Holbein and Robert Campin. I especially value the sincerity and purity
of their expression."
