Georges Braque (1882-1963) is perhaps best known for developing Cubism with Picasso. Originally working for his father as a decorator, he developed his artistic talent and eventually moved to Paris in 1900 where he was influenced by the Fauve
movement and the proto-cubist landscapes of Cezanne. Picasso's experiments as an artist had a huge effect on Braque and the two artists soon became the first exponents of Cubism.
