Although Natalie Martin was trained as a sculptor, she now excels in the fine art of painting. She seeks to "explore the idea of urban decay and domestic neglect as sources of beauty and reverence" and "re-examine the apparent
banality of everday architecture, invoke a celebration of the ordinary and to bring to light some of the unsung architectural heroes of our changing urban landscape." She began exhibiting her paintings in 2007 and some of her works have been
accepted by the Royal Academy and the Bath Society of Artists.
