Born in 1964 in Starokonstantinov, Ukraine, Bratanyuk studied at the Faculty of Art, Odessa Art College, named after M. Grekov.
He then studied at the studios of K. Lomykin in Odessa, M. Reshnyansky
in Nikolaev and T. Yablonskaya in Kiev.
He has
exibited widely in Europe and has his works placed in Theatre Museum, St. Petersburg; Museum of the Vaganova Ballet; Fund for the
Museum of Modern Russian Art, London.
and in private collections in Russia, Ukraine, U.K., Finland,
Germany,France,
Belgium, The Netherlands, Greece, Egypt, Canada, USA and Japan.
